O/S Daily Thursday 28th February This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything Old Style and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what Old Style things we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an Old Style natter. The more the merrier!
As this is the Old Style Board, it would be appreciated if posts could include some Old Style content. Please be aware that many people may have small screens, or slow internet connections, so please don’t post large pictures, or clip art – links are preferred. When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning.
Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well”

Good Morning x You are not on your own!
Im gonna make a cuppa to have with my pain meds .....Would you like one?I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Morning all:j:j
I hope that I find you all well this morning.
The Night shift was quite on here:D
I have had a doze In my chair. Sleeping on duty,
I hope that all you others that are having trouble with sleep and pain had a better night last night.
If this keeps up. How many of you would be interested In having a Daily thread and a Nightly thread ??:j:j
Quite day here for me. My wife's at work this afternoon and she also has Choir tonight.
I have just the normal tidying Jobs to do. If it turns out to be nice this afternoon Then I will have a clean up In the chicken House, It could do with cleaning.
No meal plans for today. the Girls have dancing after school, My Mum will pick them up from school and take them, She will then given them there Dinner before they come home.
Just myself to sort out as my Wife will only be in the house for about 30mins tonight once she gets from work. Just enough time to have little chat with the Girls before they go to bed and she goes out to choir.
Well I hope you all enjoy your Day,
I'm sure You will bump into me on here at some point. I don't have a lot more to do!
Enjoy :j:j:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0 -
Good morning everyone
Flying visit as I am getting dry from the shower, then on my way to work.
The jigsaw won last night and the edges are complete, will hopefully finish it tonight .... but have promised myself to do a bit of decluttering first
Stuffed vegetables are in the slow cooker ready for tonight's dinner. I did prepare those last night, so wasn't totally lazy! Need to make a new batch of home made soup for lunches and the freezer, so it's sandwiches today.
Better dash so it's off I go with well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep warm and safe and have a super dayLBM 10/1/12 ~ DFW Start 6/2/12: £82,344 ~ Now Zero:staradmin:starmod::staradmin Debt free 17th April 2015 :staradmin:starmod::staradmin

Couples lose 90 minutes of sleep a week bickering in bed about snoring, fidgeting and passing wind
More than a quarter of British couples argue in bed three times a week, each argument lasts 30 minutes
Arguments are caused by fidgeting, snoring, hogging the duvet and not being in the mood for sex
Worst bickerers are in Birmingham and Manchester

Morning everyone
Hugs to those that need/want them that are having a hard/sad time at the moment x
Light cloud, dry and frosty here this morning.
DH up and off to work stupid early.
Dinner last night was a flat mushroom stuffed with cream cheese baked in the oven for starters, then a prawn salad with fresh bread, Hm treacle sponge and custard for dessert - wasn't sure how it would go with DH as it's not really salad weather especially when you've been outside most of the day - but he loves prawns so he thought it was fab! Tonight we will be having spag bol I think. Was productive again yesterday got the kitchen floor hoovered and scrubbed. Then did general housework and then spent a couple of hours in DS2's bedroom - now have 2 black bags in the boot of my car to take to the recycling centre. The room is certainly not finished but much better, he has some piles of stuff to sort through to decide what he wants to do with it. Not sure how much flying will get done today as I'm taking mum to hospital for her appointment as dad is still waiting for the garage to sort out his car key. Will go and have a browse in the new huge MrS near the hospital whilst waiting for mum. DS1 has an exam this afternoon so am treating both boys to brekkie out this morning before dropping them both at school.
Need to crack on.
May pop back later.
Keep safe and well x
