Looks like Chris Beardshaw is joining Beechgrove, also Beechgrove is going to be broadcast nationwide on BBC2 on a Sunday? (rather than just BBC2 Scotland/iplayer)

Monty's new greenhouse must have cost a packet! Hopefully the BBC license fee payer wasn't invoiced...0

A quick heads up for anyone who enjoys this.
The Beechgrove Garden is back on Thursday 4th April at 19.30 on BBC2 Scotland (SKY 970) and on Sunday 7th April on BBC2 network, time TBC"We could say the government spends like drunken sailors, but that would be unfair to drunken sailors, because the sailors are spending their own money."

Thanks Badrick, I've just spotted this on the BBC news site, there'll be a lot of happy people south of the border!
Gardening programme The Beechgrove Garden will be shown south of the border for the first time when it returns for a new series in the spring.
It has been a hardy perennial in Scotland for 35 years but has not been shown on the full BBC network before.
The show, presented from Aberdeen for more than 30 years by Jim McColl, will be broadcast on BBC One Scotland, with a Sunday morning repeat on BBC Two.
Something to look forward to at last!:j

Gardeners world is so boring unless you want to look at gardens the size of a park.:D Just so unpracticle to people with normal gardens who, want to grow a few veg.0

yea why do people dye their hair jet black when they are in their 40 s or 50 s.?, It doesnt look natural at all, plus it makes your face look very white and show the wrinkles up more .. I agree that pic of him looks terrible........
Id much rather have Toby Buckland hosting the show he is far more practical gardener and very down to earth...........0
