Don't waste your money paying npower to fix and service it, they will charge the earthFor everthing else there's mastercard.
For clampers there's Barclaycard.0 -
The majority of installs I come across don't have the building regs certificate, just the benchmark. I have spoken to loads of installers who work independently and for companies who just don't bother. It is held in contempt by many for the money making scam it is.
Whether a RGI agrees with notifying a boiler installation or not he/she would be doing the customer a disservice by not completing the process: £2.64 hardly breaks the bank to notify via GSR. I suspect some RGIs don't notify their installs (or even register the warranty or complete the Benchmark) to avoid a paper trail for HMRC to follow. Shame on them and it makes life more difficult for the rest of us.0 -
Not saying its right or wrong personally but I have only ever seen 1 certificate on any of the boilers I've been to post installation. There are very few customers who know what they should receive and to be fair there are a good deal of installers who don't know what they should be providing.
I fitted a boiler in my house and believe me I tried to register it. I can't because when I take my polo shirt off I'm no longer gas safe. When people fill your route with hoops to jump through there can be no surprise that people just go round them.0 -

A RGI who doesn't know what he/she should be providing is a plank of the highest order and customers need to educate themselves about requirements: not difficult given internet access and search engines.
Can't hold your own registration as a BG employee I take it?
People often take the convenient route.;)0
