Should the DVDs arrive they will be of dubious quality. Only one season of the show has been officially released on DVD. So where will the rest of the episodes, assuming they're actually present, be sourced from? Poor quality downloads, most likely, with all the onscreen rubbish you get on TV (network logos, promos, etc.) Even the first season may not be copied from the official DVDs.

These sort of sites are notorious for offering large box-sets that have never been released officially. Always check to see whether the DVD is available from Amazon before buying.
This is everybody's fault but mine.

I don't see how you can do a chargeback on goods not received when they will arrive? Are you planning on keeping the goods?

Not sure yet what to do. Going to wait until they arrive and make a decision from there.

How do you know they will arrive ????

Visa regs state that if a retailer does not deliver within 15 days of debit date, or if they give a future date in the conformation email, 15 days of that. Then a chargeback can be actioned.

And YES in theory you could end up with the money back and the goods via visa.
Of course the retailer has the right to contest the chargeback. But would have to prove delivery (signed by OP) Or could take them to court....
    Not likely with fake goods.

Personal advice from someone who works disputes such as this....

    DO NOT WAIT.....

It will make any chance getting your money back no end harder.
Retailer will spin it out so you run out of time to do anything via Visa, you will have no recourse to the courts (non uk co)

OP I would ignore this advice. I would wait at least another week if not two.

You've got 120 days so there is no panic and it does sound like you want these DVDs.

Do you work for this co?????

Its not nice to tell people that there is nothing you can do for them as they are out of time.

Or when fake goods arrive and they then have to get proof of them being fake, have to send them back to the retailer at THEIR OWN COST. By a method that proves the goods were recieved.

So this could cost the Op nearly as much as the product.

If the goods arrive and the OP is happy, then if the retailer rejects the chargeback. Then the OP will be redebited and the retailer gets their cash.
    4. How long is the delivery time?

We dispatch most of our orders the next working day after we receive the payment, some other orders may be delayed a few days depending on stock availability. The average delivery time is 4-9 working days.

OP waited 2 weeks already..... So nearly double the time they quote.

Stop being so soft and let the Op get his cash back before it ends up costing far more

The company emailed to say there had been a delay and the parcel is on the way. Delays happen. Stop being so unreasonable.

The visa chargeback team are obviously incompetent if they can't perform a chargeback if contacted 30 days after charge. They've still got 90 days to sort it out. What do you people do that takes so long?

Ignore the bad advice that you are being given by someone who has absolutely no idea what he is talking about.

The DVDs are fake and likely not worth the money you have paid for them.

You've got a chance to get your money back easily by doing a chargeback for non-delivery, which you are perfectly entitled to do.

If you wait until the DVDs arrive and then find that they are total crap then, as Dalesrider says, you will have a lot more difficulty getting your money back.

I just want to see the OP get the right resolution, at the least expense and wasted time to themselves.

Each card provider has their own teams....

A chargeback can be actioned at any point within 120 days. That is not a problem at all.
Non reciept is a nice easy (all over the phone no paperwork one) as far as we go. Other card providers may vary....

As I stated before #18 if the goods arrive and are fake, then its a lot harder, and WILL cost the OP money to get resolved.

Are you prepared to pay the return costs for the OP for waiting another couple of weeks. If the goods turn up and are rubbish?
While I can say he can get his money back, and if totally satisfied with the goods, be able to allow the company a chance to reclaim the money?
