The Whatcar target price is-£14,249, (yours was £14,671) although this is for a 1.6 e-HDi 92 Active 5dr and yours is a "feline" model, I don't know the difference.

The active is a low end spec . The feline being the top of the range without buying a boy racer gti. Over the active it's got things like panoramic roof, leather seats sat nav, auto everything led light and so on . Plus I specced mine up with park assist and a ultrasonic alarm £750 worth of extras .

The car has now arrived though two weeks late it turned up as expected on a a ford transit car transporter from Yorkshire with only 3 miles on the clock. It was still clean but not showroom clean but to be fair he had been on the road from 4 am to get to me by 9am and it rained in the night. And for the money I saved I could get it professionally valeted every month for nearly the next 4 years ! Of most importance is the wife is Happy !

I challenge anyone to find a bad comment by anyone who has used them ! Trust me I have spent hours looking!

"I recently bought an 06 Nissan Navara from Sonnauto and within the first week, experienced the following problems:

    1. Roof leaked
    2. Central locking incorrectly wired (I was later told by Jonathan at Sonnauto that this was a feature - the side lights needed to be on for the central locking to work!)
    3. Four-wheel drive failure
    4. Speedometer failure
    5. ABS failure
    6. Odometer failure (the car had extremely low mileage for its age!).
    7. Sat Nav failure
    8. Battery flat

In addition when I turned up to collect the car I found that there was no log book, no spare key, and the 'gold plated' warranty had a £500 cap and a 14 day cooling-off period before it was valid (Steve at Sonnauto seemed surprised when I pointed this out but has since informed me that I could have paid more to get it upgraded).

Sonnauto offered to fit a 2nd hand ABS as they could get hold of one for £250 but refused the Nissan recommendation to fit a new one (as this would have cost over £2000).

After many heated discussions we agreed to give the car back and when they came to collect it we were presented without warning with a legal document demanding that we surrendered any rights to pursue the company. When I refused to sign this letter, they took the car and refused to refund our money (over £10,000) until we did. Not exactly"

    "Good Points
-Sales person dealing with me, was friendly and tries to be helpful.
    -Prices were cheaper.

    Bad Points
    all style, no substance.
    -Ridiculous waiting time.
-Negligence of checking correct car is actually on order.

    General Comments
    Company sister site is sonnauto.co.uk
Placed order for new car after Christmas, no reply, waited till after New Year when I rang them up and they said they were on backlog over the holiday season. Fine.
Placed my order, and went for part exchange, and they seemed eager for me to do business as they offered me a very nice part exchange rate.
Car was meant to be due around March (with extras, so takes longer than buying a standard car).
Waited till March and rang up for updates, found out my car was delayed. Waited and rang constantly (as e-mail replies takes longer) and eventually found out that my car was NOT on the order, that the everytime THEY checked the order, they say it kept coming back with "no data", and when they rang the actual supplier, THEY say the supplier confirms the car IS being built.
Ended up waiting till late April / early May and eventually found out they were given the WRONG order number! I was extremely angry and disappointed at this point, and they offered a refund of my deposit (or cheekily, to have a different car they have in stock... What would be the point!?).
I ended up with two options; to take the deposit and go elsewhere, but would have to pay for the then current prices (which had been increased twice already) and wait for a month for it, or to stay and wait for a month with the same company since it is price protected.
Since I waited for so long, and the price is around £2,000 cheaper, I stayed with the same company, and they told me that my car is now on "Priority 1" (which means nothing to me).
So they told me the car would arrive Friday 12th June (yes, basically half a year has gone by). Come the date, the car hasn't arrived, so I waited till Monday and rang them again. The person on the phone told me they should have the car details that day (the registration) and the car should arrive next week!
As I write this review, it is the Wednesday 16th June. Will wait till next week or a decent time point they can confirm the arrival of the car. If not, will contact trading standards.
Will update on this review if I ever get the car."

They employ or employed bone solutions http://www.backbonesolutions.com/ who specialise in trying to get you higher on search engines. These companies often "manage" your online reviews which can possibly involve placing their own reviews and also disputing bad reviews which means the review site contact the reviewer and ask them to provide evidence of their purchase. Many people can't be bothered to respond or do not receive the email due to changing ISP so a good percentage of bad reviews drop off.

They can also plant other pages so bad reviews fall much much lower down search engine results so are missed unless you really look.

my opinion is based on my experience with the Bournemouth based Buyanewcaronline (Sonnauto) and they where perfect in every way during my transaction.

As for the car you bought from there Gloster company Sonnauto I take it that it th car was 7 years old so what do you expect form a 7 year old car. Also the warranty or should I say insurance warranty always have loads of clauses in it and low limits per claim. this is the same where ever you go and get extended car warranty as the dealers don't cover it themselves they use a insurance company like you see on the tv .

And as for using the same company, you must be made !! I had a good experience with the company John and Andrew from there Bournemouth based company dealt with my purchase and always kept me updated. if I had had half your trouble and had them show me legal letters I would not go anywhere near them,
I am sorry but it just does not add up. are you sure you have not had the original problem then just made the rest up to get back at them !!

To sum it up you bought a second hand car from a second hand car dealer need we say more !! As for then buying a new car from the same company you are ever completely stupid or you made it up !!

To sum up I have never purchased a car from sonnauto or buyanewcaronline, you challenged us to find a negative review of them and I posted a couple of not great reviews of them.

I also explained how it would be possible for them to manage their online image bearing in mind it looks like they employ or employed the services or bone solutions
