I have to say this has been a really good ebay weekend for me - best i have had in a very long time - 20 items sold out of 100 and £143.65 added to my pot :)

Am so sorry to hear its been a bad ebay day/week for others - believe me i have had plenty of them too! Think i'm actually in shock right now re the sales this time - just shows you it does turn around eventually :)

quick note on why i think it worked for me this time: I listed 100 items, mostly new listings and some relists, i added some detail to the listings to make them more personal - ie i loved wearing this jacket but its just too small now......kinda stuff, I relisted everything that didn't sell yesterday for 1 day, and i had a mix of 99p and other price items. Oh yes and a good variety of things in general but at least 4 or 5 of each type. I hope that info is helpful to anyone else listing but especially to those new to ebay.

Good luck for all of you for good earning days to come :) xxxx

My nephew asked for Forza Horizon for his birthday. I looked in Mr T and it was £38, shopped around and found it on Mr S's entertainment for £27.99 so that is my £10 today. Put a few re-lists on ebay.

  • £37.85 eBay tonight for me before fees- I will take them all out at the same time. Most of this was part used toiletries! Another 9 things listed/relisted, and a bit more space cleared in the house :j
£23 from CEX for the PS2 today too,
Think I need to get out a notebook and write this down, and start a new purse and savings account, it's too easy to waste the money when it's supposed to be going off my credit card! I'm also redecorating my living room at the minute though, and have spent a fortune taking DD to see One Direction yesterday, so not usual expenses.

Ended up selling 11 out of my 26 listings so not too bad. Worth about £90 in total but need to take ebay and paypal fee's out of that so more likely to work out at around £75 in real money. Going to be tuts and sighs galore behind me in the post office tomorrow (again!).

There is no rhyme or reason to Ebay at times. Stuff that I thought would sell well went for a lot less than I thought. Stuff I chucked on to get rid of sold better than I thought (and in one case sold for more than I paid for it new). Given up trying to work it out.

Sorry to those who had slower sales this weekend - agree good to have a breather from it and come back to it in a few weeks with a refreshed mojo! I managed 2 relists tonight and that's it and think I need an ebay free week too TBH.

Weighing up whether to list my remaining items at a 99p start and see what happens or chuck them in the car boot sale box for next month as at least I won't have the packing and fee's hassle.

Hope everyone is OK and having a relaxing evening.

Oh dear. I ended a couple & tried to relist on ebay.. I put them as 7 instead of 10 day autctions in error... now ebay says I have reached my limit! How annoying.
First time I was using the app on my phone.
