Think I should be able to make a wee profit on those. Will list at the weekend - anyone heard whether it'll be free listing again? I missed last weekends.
sorry Sellurgranny, we don't know weeks in advance of free listing. i follow the free listing thread on mse, and soon as someone gets notification they post on there, then I post on here and a few other threads. So watch out for the posts.0 -

Yay - it's March! I love this time of year and the fact that spring is around the corner.
Right, adding £46.00 expenses paid from work today, £25.57 paid from quidco and £4.93 from an ebay sale so £76.50 gets me off the mark.
I really laughed at the rare erasers........that is just FABULOUS! Never in a million years would I thought something like that would be so collectable. Total classic.
For me, when it comes to working out expenses for items bought to sell on I don't include petrol as a "cost" as such. I try and keep it simple by recording my mileage and then I know that when I fill in my tax return the mileage of 45p per mile is deducted from tax owed at that point. So if I travel 10 miles and the actual cost for arguments sake is £1.49 - when I come to do a tax return I can claim back £4.50 worth of expenses (which in effect is taken off any tax I owe) which in a round about way cancels out the original cost of the petrol and a little more really.0 -
