    Morning everyone,

Tina So pleased that your DS has found work so quickly.

Halight Hope that you get your sleeping sorted out soon.

Judi Glad that all your children have contacted you.

Hilstep Sorry that your dad is no better, get well wishes for him.

    Molly and Jools Hugs.

Sistercas I was thinking the same as you about how Halight spent his birthday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I sympathise with all you insomniacs out there. I normally sleep really well but I have been drinking a lot more water to try to sort out my terrible skin and I had to get up twice in the night to go to the loo!

Am at work today and this evening I have a pile of marking to do, the pile of marking seems to be as bottomless as the ironing pile!

I pulled a selection of things out of the freezer for tea so hopefully there will be enough there to feed everyone although DS and DD1 are bottomless pits!

    Have a lovely day everyone.:)
  • Good morning everyone :)

Cold and bright here, it's a lovely day and a shame I am in work!

Happy Birthday to Mister SisterCas :bdaycake:

I hope you both have a lovely day and a super lunch out _party_

Can't stop laughing at the comments re Halight's online entertainment. Oo-er-missus! :rotfl:

Forget to get anything out of the freezer for dinner so it will either be eggs or beans on toast.

DH is out tonight and I am torn whether to get on with decluttering or do a lovely jigsaw I bought for £1 in a charity shop. Maybe I can do a tiny bit of decluttering then the jigsaw.

Well wishes to all sick people and pets and hugs for those who need or just want them. Keep warm and safe and have a super day :)

Moorhen, my ironing pile is empty!!! Did it last night, but since loads of washing currently drying will be another pile soon! Flight due in at 12.50 so better get the hair dried, good job the airport is only 5 mins down the road, usually takes longer to find a parking space!

    Afternoon everyone

I'm another who wondered about Halight's afternoon of online entertainment! Great minds think alike!!

It was horrible dark and dull this morning - and now the sky has cleared and its a lovely bright sunny day - it makes such a difference to your mood, doesn't it?

Have been quite a busy bee again this morning - have finished off the kitchen, floor hoovered and scrubbed. Bathrooms cleaned, bedrooms, landing, dining room and lounge all hoovered through and general tidying done. Just now having short break for lunch then will tackle DS2's bedroom - hoping to get stuff sorted so that it's at least tidy and clothes are either in the wardrobe or drawers - not the floor! Have a stack of black bags - why do they like to keep screwed up bits of paper etc?

Have also done a couple of quick jobs on pc for DH.

Better crack on otherwise nothing else will get done.

    Keep safe and well x

    Afternoon all,

I thought the same Halight :rotfl:
    Happy Birthday to Mr Sistercas:beer:
Tina, so glad your boy is home and working, bet you feel so much happier:D
TTFTM my vote is for the jigsaw:D

Spent the morning parcelling and posting eBay parcels and listing some more stuff.
Managed to walk to the post office, I think my knee feels slightly better. Dh has been rubbing Ibrufen gel in for me, it seems to be helping a bit.
Not seen my middle boy for 3 days, I'm wondering if he's moved out and forgot to tell me!
Tea tonight is steak for the boys. Not sure about me. I'm due at Ww but to be honest I'm not really following the diet and it feels like a waste. Just don't want to let my friend down who I go with:o
Managed to get a cut and blow for £15 this morning which I thought was good and my hair feels so much better.
Have a good day whatever you are up to x

    Hi all

    Hoppy Birdday Mistercas:beer::D

Can I sign up for Insomniacs Anonplease? It's been a major problem for me for more years than I can remember. And when I do get to sleep, I get awful nightmares, so I can't win.:(

Scan at the hossy yesterday was one of the most unpleasant experiences - I was trying so hard not to go into a full-blown panic attack.:( How on earth I got through it, I just do not know. Just need to put it behind me now.

Anyways - onwards and upwards - next stop: the loo, which I need to scrub. Oh, my life is so glamorous!!:rotfl:
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)
  • The Sun has just come out, but it is bloomin' cold, too late to put washing on the line, so it is on the airers again.

    Happy Birthday Mr Cas :bdaycake:

I had to phone the surgery for a repeat of the metformin because the doctor has only given me enough until Friday morning and there is only 1 packet of 28 per month on my repeat prescription so 2 a day for an average of 31 days = 62 does it not ? So he has given me less than 2 weeks worth  I am at the diabetic clinic on Friday so hopefully they will sort it out, otherwise I will run out on Friday night :( They are funny about giving repeat prescriptions for testing strips as well, I have heard that is happening all over the country on the diabetic forum that I go on.

    halight ;):rotfl:

Dinner tonight is lasagne, salad and garlic bread.

Ah now this is interesting as Metformin is the drug I have been put on for PCOS - one of those "not licensed for but clinical trials have proved" etc like Aspirin and so it's given for that as well now.... Yes, I often get less than I need as well - never mind the incorrect dose issue.... Is it just me or does anyone else remember not that long ago when you would get three months supply of meds at a time on a script? Now it's one if you're lucky... I wonder if it's something to do with getting even more money out of the sick....
But I'm going to say this once, and once only, Gene. Stay out of Camberwick Green :D
