Cash ISA is 3% any good??

My 3 year stepped thing I had with Northern Rock (Now Vermin Money) is/has come to an end.
I am looking at alternatives and found 3% with First Direct who I currently bank with anyway.
I can't find much better around at the moment, with least hassle?

It's good but you'll need £40,000+0

How about looking at the top of the Isa forum and finding out?0

With all the talk of negative interest rates 3% sounds like a deal you'd want to snap up quick!Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.0

This rate I assume is variable and is likely to change soon probably ?
I think it's fair to say there will be downward pressure, but First Direct are not a cyncial organisation. They have won awards and are a very good bank.
I'd expect it to go down a little but would not expect them to act cynically, so a good bet IMO if you have £40K and if it doesn't go well you can always transfer again.0 -

If you have over £40k you won't get better than 3% at the moment anywhere else fixed or not. FD recently pulled their regular saver for new customers, though if you've got it you still keep it, they may well do the same for the ISA so grab it quick! If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
If you do like it please hit the thanks button.0
