Query from Tiny Shoes - does anyone know of any offers on the dry nights bedmats or can anyone suggest anything similar to use please?
I have had a quick look but can't see any good offers
Thanks
Could she ask her GP or district nurse to prescribe the ones the hospital uses?
When DH was sent home from hospital I got these from the GP, I can't for the life of me remember what they are called but they're very good. I always asked for 30 on one script to save me paying for every pack of 5 they wanted to give me.

This is because one lady lost her 18 year old son just over a year ago, it was very sudden. So I have agreed to do a cake stall. I'm not even that good at baking cakes!!! It's not until may bank holiday, but I wanted to ask you guys for any ideas. I don't want to cheat.
I have contacted a girl I know that makes special cakes for people and asked her to donate one, I have said that if she has pictures of her cakes then I could display them with her details. I will also contact my old employer and hope that he may donate some as he has a lovely deli that makes delicious cakes and I can promote his business that way too.
Does anyone think asking the local co op (nearest decent sized shop) for donations of ingredients would be a good idea?
I like the idea of these

I think I may have got the short straw here as there are lots of cakes to consider and try to make, it is a bank holiday, it could get quite busy with enough advertising. One neighbour is doing a barbeque, one is doing drinks, one is doing face painting. There are only 10 houses in our little close.
My 12yr old DD wanted to make cakes tonight, to sell to the neighbours for comic relief. (Good job they asked me to do the stall before they saw those :rotfl:) She raised £5 :T, then asked if she could have the pennies in my penny pot. So I of course agreed and there was £2 in there and all this was after she got £3 off her dad and then she found about a £1 in her room in change, so she will be taking in about £11 tomorrow, bless her“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Like the look of this and know where you can get a free box of malteasers:)
I have also done malteaser towers so easy just melt a bit of chocolate and use on malteasers to stick them together.
Cup cakes can be made in advance and frozen then ice on the day.
Could also do marshmallow kebabs and decorate with chocolate and sprinkles.
Thinking of the easy kidproof options here.
