I love black rock sands. From age 8 onwards, my parent's taught me to drive up there when we visited on holiday each year :)

Yes it is a lovely beach, when it is quiet, we let the kids sit on our laps and they pretend they are driving, they love that. Going up at Easter, so hopefully weather will be nicer and get some days on the beach.

Well I just phoned up and got NOTHING! Woman said that not everything in store was online and if it didn't have the half price sticker, even because it had a SEL on the front of £5 a kg it wasn't in the offer, nothing they could do, Hmmmm!
    Should I try again???

    Morning everyone.

WIRS, you lost this battle once you'd taken the refund in the 1st place as this is seen as settlement.

Next time stand your ground, and if you don't get satisfaction ring H/O on the spot.

Some people say ring from home and usually it's ok, but that gives the sneaky feeckers time to remove the sel giving you no evidence, and if you take a picture of the sel then it's seen as you "actively seeking dtd".

Went to BP, stuck in £20 worth decaffinated petrol, got a till spit, " double necci points when you fill up with BP regular fuel".
Back to square one, no apg, no comment.

Yep - I would normally have stood my ground BUT hubby had gone back to the car feeling ill and I was more worried about him. There will always be another glitch. Hadn't seen this snooty one before either - will be looking to go to a different CS next time.

I'm surprised they were so negative on the phone - wondered if they were like this always if you take a refund?

Could you get some large packs of condoms and sanitary towels. You need to place the towels in the trolley of single men and the condoms in old ladies trolleys without them noticing. 5pts for each one you manage successfully. Childish, very funny at the till though, but you did ask!

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

If you have taken a refund they will always treat you like your on the back foot.

I tend to remind them of their own mantra "treat others how you would like to be treated yourself"

Don't forget "DTD doesn't apply if you haven't left the store" :rotfl:

I took a refund on a piece of pork stuffed with Apricots once because they wouldn't DTD just offered a refund of 1/2 of the price, silly CS woman thought she'd won, I went home explained what had happened to Main CS on phone and how embarassed I'd been and got a £10 gift card as an apology, which was enough to buy 2 of the item in question at the 1/2 price, so instead of just getting the one item free because of her not giving me DTD in store I got 2 of the item:T

Depends who you get as to what reply you get I think x

Can I ask you experts please?
I got a joint of beef yesterday - marked at £10 per kg instead of £5.
Same as the ones marked 1/2 price BUT the trout told me someone must have moved it so I could choose another or have a refund. As hubby had to go back to car as feeling ill & was more worried about him than having a DTD I reluctantly got a refund - the others didn't look like they had nice marbleing. ;) Looked on tesco.com and there are NO beef joints at £10kg so was a definite misprice.

    I intend ringing today - is it 0800 505 555?
Can anyone tell me what's the normal outcome? DTD or DTD and gift voucher because of inconvenience including the fact I have to go elsewhere to get Beef and we live in the sticks. Clubcard vouchers??

Have no idea what to expect as haven't accepted a refund before.
Should I add when on phone that I thought they gave DTD because they didn't want peeps to go to Trading Standards with a possible £2000+ fine.

I did get a 2xlamb DTD a couple of weeks back - presumably they'll see this so does this make a difference?
I got DTD on the silverside last night and noticed 1. The cs girl did not remove the SEL 2. There was a ton of them without the half price sticker
So being greedy/needy I sent the misses on a repeat trip (I went with her to assist lol) and after checking that the same CS girl was NOT on the desk I accompanied her to the CS desk to claim our DTD. New CS girl got a bit flustered and went through back only to "ask" then the same girl from earlier went on the ciggarrette till right next to CS...oh sh*** says I (Dont want to be recognised) She shouts to the new CS girl "Oh I had one in earlier (ME) and gave DTD but now we have discovered that only the ones marked half price are on sale"...
As I didn't want origional CS to recognise me I basically told my OH to allow them to return the products to the shelf for a full refund....so same story as you...I knew it was wrong and if I had not been in earlier and got 1 joint I would have stood my ground and threatened with head office
I will be making a fresh visit to the same store today and if there is a different CS on I will be getting a couple more. I wont be taking any sh*** today lol

    Morning all :D

Tuesday evening I did an online shop for delivery Wednesday afternoon.
Wednesday morning I went out and when I came home there was an answer machine message from Tesco to say my shopping was cancelled as it declined my tesco credit card and to phone my bank. So phoned up Tesco bank and they said nothing wrong with my credit card so must be a fault Tesco.com end. So I phoned Tesco.com and they said they would look into it and get back to me straight away. Waited an hour, no phone call from tesco.com so phoned them again and lady that had left the answermachine message took my call this time. She said would look into it and get back to me asap. Well she did and she said the credit card was ok this time and my shopping will be delivered at between 3 - 4 which it was.
Well I had ordered 6 boxes of silver bay wine and this was subbed with 6 bottles of some other brand rose. Sent them back as hubby doesnt like the bottled one. Surely they should have subbed with 6 boxes of other rose anyhow or equivalent bottles of silverbay rose.

So refund experts. Should I be entilted to some compensation seeing as I went through all the above. Some nice points or something ?

    TIA :D
