However, the CS said the promotional packs were those flashed half price and the one I got wasn't reduced. She offered to swap it for one of the half price ones but I declined and got a refund. Is this correct? She was very nice offering to swap it and probably thought I was strange asking for a refund rather than switching it .

I found one lonely pack of loin steaks this afternoon, when i went to CS, the lady said i had bought the wrong ones and would i like to swap it. I said i thought i had bought the right ones and no i wouldn't like to swap it but i would have DD instead. She went to ask meat manager and came back and said yes. I was very happy as i didn't know whether i was right or not. She was a nice CS lady, very chatty afterwards.
Give CS at HO a ring , they should give you gift card for the difference.

my store tried this with me but i stood my ground saying i knew there policy and they then gave me dtd and the meat

wheither tha pack is flashed or not is not down to you as long as the sel is the incorrect price to what you paid
