Hi:wave: So nice to see you posting more again:) DH is still not going out much but he's making alot of positive steps. Having said that he's not very :) with me today. My stuff arrived from France and I might have forgotten to tell him it wasn't just the couple of things I planned on bringing home initially :o To be fair my hall and front room do look like an auction room :rotfl::rotfl:

The painting.....if I'd looked at the paperwork that was with it properly instead of dismissing it because it was in French, I would have noticed the artists name on it. He was called Ben Wallis. I have personally never heard of him but some googling has sorted that out. It arrived with the other stuff today and I have to say Im still not taken with it. My dad had a thing for art but it doesn't strike me as to his taste either? Im thinking it was maybe an investment....who knows? Anyway my DS1 does like it very much. He unlike me, inherited the love of arty things gene. So it now belongs to him. And if it was bought as an investment.....he might be a lucky boy one day;)

    oh long post.....:o

How lovely that your son has taken after your Dad & he likes the picture & hopefully it will be a good investment. I would love to have some things to remind me of my Dad but his 2nd wife took it all (except for his watch which doesn't work).

So glad dh is making a some progress. What a lovely surprise when you came back to the loft being decked out. I bet you look forward to the day when you get him back to how he was before.

Ive chanced it. Delivery between 8-10am. If it doesn't work, I'll send them back. Ive ordered some other stuff that I would be buying anyway. Generally the drivers aren't fussed about taking stuff back.....good thinking on the ordered 20 instead of 2. I think it's Worth a punt
