either that or he had a season ticket for the tanning shop!! He was rather sun kissed :rotfl:0 -
Yes, several long more conversations with sky.
Firstly they said they upped the speed, that didn't make any difference.
Then another phone call and they decided there was a problem with the line, they could see we were fluctuating and it would be seen to over the next 72 hours and the meantime we would get a credit on the bill for the problems we've had. A bit suss as it was one of the 1st things she tested on Friday , the line.
Anyway I've got iPad working again after a re set, just have to see how it goes tommorow on the main computer.
Plenty of non computer related things to do anyway -
Not a good day all round, got a 30 day fb ban
Son didn't get his job that he applied for so he is back on the job websites trawling through, when its working ...
Hopefully everything else will get sorted then in timeWhen The Fun Stops Stop0 -

We've only used new customer codes twice, for mine and OHs accounts. When we used OHs account for the first time the delivery driver started going on about how he'd been to ours before but the paperwork said we were new. Made me feel like a naughty schoolgirl  :rotfl:
They said to me last week are you new and i said no we've just moved. Then the next time different driver said are you new I said no don't worry I know what to do just deliver my shopping - I was nice to him though. If they stop delivering to me so be it I won't pay full price anyway lol. But I will milk it while it works.:D0 -

She was fine at 9:30am .. Giving me evils because I was using the hair dryer and she wanted to go to sleep on my bed. She took off in a huff. Then around 10 minutes later she was unable to stand and was trying to pull herself across the floor using her front paws only. Apparently she had a blood clot and there was nothing the vets could have done. I miss her terribly and keep "seeing" her out of the corner of my eye. I guess as a post said earlier we never really appreciate what we have until it's too late!
Thanks for letting me share- just needed to off load.
I know I've read lots of posts on here with people who are having challenging times and I wish them all well. ((()))
Tears now wiped! Time for a cuppa.
So sorry to hear about your darling cat, and so sudden too. I know what you mean about seeing her out of the corner of your eye stillMr 3Dogs 3-7-12

Got my Mum a lovely £20.00 BUNCH DOWN TO £4.99 in Mr M earlier this afternoon. Then I went back about 5.30 and got a gorgeous bunch of enormous white roses, a bunch of Orange Roses, a bunch of yellow roses and a mixed bunch for £4.74 total. My DD paid as I had told her I would have my Mother's Day flowers today when they were reduced. Mum had told my sis that it was a shame I was ill on Sunday as I usually get her a lovely bunch. So I took them up this evening and she was thrilled.0

Yes you have to add something. On their own they are a little harsh curry powder tasting. I think a bit of cream would hep too:)
Thanks for the tip. We used to always watch masterchef but for some reason haven't got into it the last year. Must have clashed with football or something.
Hi fairclaire how's you & dh? So glad you were able to go & tidy things up in France. Did you find out if the painting your Dad bought was signed by a known artist?0 -
