  • AngelsMadv and anyone else who needs it, there's a national Charity called Family Lives (used to be Parentline) that offer phone, online chat and email support:

I did a parenting course run by one of their volunteers and found it very helpful.

Thank you Patty, can honestly say meeting you was a pleasure and your a lovely lady. :D

I've decided to ignore the op's last post on this as I really don't want a slanging match bogging down this wonderful thread.

As some friends have pointed out to me, anyone who knows me on here or in RL, know I would never behave in such a manner.

On another note, Mothercare have a 50% off sale ATM, and a personalised £10 off wys £50 if you download their app. All my kids seem to be outgrowing their clothes at once, so managed to get loads for £40 plus free delivery. :T

Most helpful, thanks. DD2 was just leaving to go to Mothercare.

Wish my two were small enough for Mothercare:D They are more into Hollister and the likes - they get one or two bits of it and wear repeatedly with Next jeans. I am sure this Mothercare thing will be great for all with little ones (No DM Idon't mean yours;););))

Would my wife get redundancy if her boss sells the shop as a going concern but my wife doesn't work for the new owner ?

The boss said she will stipulate that the new owner has to keep her on but what if my wife doesn't want to stay ?

Dunno- I think that would mean your wife would need to resign from either the current or new company - if she resigns no redundany......
