Hope this might help someone, a new AvT filler.

Tosco have reduced the price of their Value Spaghetti (dried pasta not tinned) from 39p to 19p. Compares to Sada's SP Spaghetti which is 24p. A useful cheap filler I think, but how much profit must they have been making if they have just halved the price!

Thank you to everyone whose advice has helped me in my desperate quest to make ends meet. x

EDIT-Back on the quest, I've been away too long!

Just to add to this... And to show you why it is so critical. This morning when he wouldn't get out the car I had to physically drag him out.

He has reported me to school and I've now been summoned home to face an emergency Social worker who wants to talk to the whole family. I hope now people will now realise just why, when the child knows all their rights, it is so difficult. :(:(:(

For Pete's sake .......but if you hadn't got him to school and his attendance was a problem then they would be wanting you to "get him there" however you can . Hope you can all work it out Madv - he wil have some idea I'm sure of the hurt and chaos but will not have thought this through enough and won't comprehend just how much chaos he is setting in motion. :(Hope they give him space to back away from his report if he wants.

    Hugs :A

Anyone else had their free maltesers from the Co-Op yet? I have :j:j:j

I'm loving the fact that the customer needs to explain the process to the store staff, good job it comes with instructions lol! I just handed over my phone and the SA processed it through the PayPoint terminal no probs.

    Who said moneysaving was easy?

    But for free chocolate...:T:T:T

Quite an interesting cheap training exercise for the company I think. Did you clock that if you go into a store that has a green pin (i.e no-one has been in there yet) and redeem an offer (and no doubt train the staff there too) then they will give you a free kit kat, and one of Nescafe instant 200g, fairy non bio liquitabs 20 or 20cl of bacardi. Details at the bottom of the help page.

I tried last time when the offer was a free Mars bar but three different staff members couldn't work it out despite the seemingly easy instructions it simply wouldn't scan so I left quite embarrassed and empty handed lol.
    Deleted the app after that.

Absolutely, I knew the staff wouldn't know much about it so I read everything first...they didn't have a clue and I didn't find it that easy to explain either but at least they listened and it went through OK!

I need more than a free flipping kitkat though...I just checked and it's on my list of offers now. Sadly the free maltesers offer has gone off my page, shame :(:(:(:D Perhaps because they are in my fridge!

Oh I feel for you, try and keep calm and just express your concern as to his behaviour. You will probably find out that he has been telling a few fibs along the way, and made out to be worse that it was.

Please come back and tell us what happened, we are all thinking of you. :A

We've got 4 quidco accounts Each account has bought 3. Some 3 in 1 go, some 2 +1. I was assuming it was just 3 over the period offer.

I like this coffee and at effectively £1 for 200g I wouldn't mind some more so might open more quidco accounts to get th e£4.50 CB, then only another £50p CB to trigger £2.50 payment to referrer(me). Only problem I can see is that payment out may need to go to a unique bank account....not a problem for me as I've got 9 Lloyds vantage accounts:)

Thanks Artha - I had thought the same re 3 over period of offer - and I note that they have changed the wording to this now.

But I remembered seeing on other thread a discussion re whether you could claim more as t & c then stated something like - 3 per week of offer, but then they extended the offer period to 2 to 3 weeks. Hubby's yet to try coffee (I'm a tea drinker). Have referred OH bu he's not signed up - need to get the thumbscrews on him tonight - after a bottoming of course :rotfl:

I am seriously impressed - 4 accounts don't think I can manage that at this juncture - is that 4 x  when they mess you arouond. The only time mine have gone through is after chase up emails. Anyhow thanks for letting me know - dust would have settled if waited on quidco.
