Firstly. Thank you to everyone that has responded. Things have happened in the past that I'm not proud of and it humbles me to see how much affection and support the thread still provides given past differences. I truly am grateful for the kind nature of this thread and its members - something I'm proud to be part of. :o
im probaly goign to get shot down in flames here but bear with me ;) THIS IS JUST WHAT I DO/WOULD DO AND JUST MY OPINION[...]
CC - Your opinion is as valid as anyone's. I have given each of the children (bar the 16 year old as she's an angel!) a smack in the past. The problem is, it has never achieved anything for me. The only time I got one growing up is when I told my mum to FO. It was the one and only time but it wasn't the threat of violence, I just felt really bad that I caused my mum to do that! Please don't feel bad for voicing your opinion.

Your post was full of advice. Thank you. I appreciate the support and words of encouragement.

Thank you for your words. I really do feel bad at times with myself because sometimes I wish he'd just disappear. I know that's bad, and that's why it upsets me so much. :(

I think the problem with my DS is that he is just like his dad, and they clash and just cannot seem too get on together, they wind each other up. Could that be the same with your step son?
I think exactly this and a combination. We do clash, often, and I'm sure he blames me for splitting his mum and dad up as unfortunately he was never aware, even though we've discussed it, that they split up long before I ever knew his mum. They just lived close so he almost felt as though they were a family. And his Dad uses that belief still, and did in the run up, to hurt us.

But mine pale into insignificance compared to Dr V. I really feel for you :o.
Tiger - I'm sorry I took the focus from your DS. I's not easy at any age. With my 7 year old (mentally 5 with Aspergers) and the 5 year old the naughty step seems to work best. I put them back on it until the behaviour stops. :A

Thank you for your informative post. I shall look into it further.

    Thank you all. :A

OMG I hate this place, its so depressing :( Loads of young girls have been coming to interviews this morning but I know that only the pretty ones that the manager thinks he has a chance with will be considered. He’s a a slimy horrible creep carrying on with girls young enough to be his daughters! Not only that but he’s married. It's his poor wife I feel sorry for :(

I'd downloaded the shop, scan save app for the free maltesers. This is the screen I see - is there supposed to be a voucher - I tap on the offer but nothing happens :(
