Does anyone else keep all their receipts? I am just thinking that my stash of crisps, MT, FF, Vinnies, cleaning products etc could require evidence of payment if I ever got raided . I hadn't realised how many deals I must have bought until I looked in the bag of Flumps an white mice :eek:.

I only tend to get what we will use ... eventually ... but am running out of space.

Have to say that I love patients like you. I respect the fact you allow juniors to do cannulas on you and don't demand more senior nurses/doctors from the start.

If a patient says they have difficult veins, I usually look at both arms and apply the tourniquet in the upper arm AND lower arm. Usually find a vein that way.

I've (yet) to fail at a cannula (touch wood). I relish difficult cannulas; kinda like these:
