Ah, fair enough then - I didn't expect a full service airline to weigh the bags (unless it was obviously too big!).
Though it's pretty easy to just take stuff out then put it back in after the check. I generally enter a Ryanair plane with 1 full bag and then leave with 2 full bags!0 -
will this be risky (flying ryanair) as nearly maximum on 2 of the sizes ???
Hello & Welcome
You are viewing a holdall on wheels, which is very light and can be pulled along at will. This holdall will almost go on every flight around the world as cabin luggage, as 95% of airlines state the cabin luggage must fit the dimensions of 55x40x20cm
Bag dimensions: 55x34x20 cm (Nearly Maximum)
Weight: 0.72 kg One of the lightest in the world!!!

if you check in at the desks at the airport, they could weigh your hand luggage (mine has been weighed on bmi in the past).0 -

that will be fine - as long as the dimensions include any wheels and handles.0 -

thanks, yes wheels and handles included in size..
its soft material so just got to try and make sure it dont puff out i guess..
once through security is that it for bag checks ??
i.e can you carry 2 bags on the plane ( thinking things bought from the shops )0 -
No - the staff can refuse to let you board at the gate with the bags, and take them off you to put in the hold (plus charge the appropriate fee). Some airports do have arrangements with airlines allowing you to take an extra bag on board, but its probably easier just to plan ahead and make sure you have space in your carry on for anything you intend to buy.0

They were sporting a new set of digital scales at the gate Ryanair usually use in Wroclaw the other day. Fortunately enough they didn't use them as I was well over. I was sweating a bit while I was queuing though! So there is a risk, unless they are the airlines' equivalent of TV Detector Vans.0 -

I've had my hand baggage weighed by Monarch, Ryanair and most recently Virgin Atlantic. I got caught out at Malaga airport being .75kg over and had to take something out. Fortunately my partner was underweight by 1kg so just took it off me. As soon as we were out of sight I repacked my bag!0 -
We got ours weighed by Thomson's at Doncaster
We were flying hand luggage only though.
Both were well over-weight, mine was 7.2kg, the girl simply said to make sure we took a heavy book out - or something - before boarding0
