looks nice - and achieveable! I'd put glue on the back of each button and stick it down. Also, I think I'd lay out all the buttons to get a nice pattern before I stuck any down. Good luck!

good idea. You could take a photo of the layout which you could refer to when actually sticking them down.

I'd definitely put glue on the back of each button rather than glue the whole heart. Personally I'd stick some beads onto some spare card using a couple of diff glues (use one type per button) and check after a couple of days which glue has stuck best. (sorry, I'm a belt-and-braces girl ;))

I don't see how you could make a mess of it, if you prepare well, take your time & work in a good light with no interruptions. If it does go wrong, peel the buttons off and start again with new paper/card, same buttons.

PS I can't believe the price on that website

Good luck - it's a lovely thought and I'm sure your friends will appreciate it. Please post a pic when it's finished.

Do any of you crafters "belong" to the Pinterest website ? There are some amazing ideas for all sorts of crafts on there - once you start searching you can't stop (well, I can't, but then I've got no will-power !)
