I used to do it, was a nice ride and arrived to work with my endorphines pumping.

how long did it take you i think i could do it abouut 1hr 15 min
  • Ride what? A bike, horse, cow, motorbike?

If, as I assume your referring to a bike, then it will depend entirely on how fit you are, but 10 miles should be easily possible given enough time.
and yes they is some

Again depends on the terrain and types of roads. I would suggest doing a couple of practice runs first to get a feel for the route and how long recovery time you need before starting work.

I used to do 10 miles in circa 40 minutes, however this was in London which is fairly flat so no big hills

I don't do any other exercise and, after maybe a week of "building up to it" (only cycling alternate days), I found that it was quite easy to cycle around 35 miles off-road (cross-country)...

It will be easier on tarmac so you'll be able to travel further (depending on fitness and how light/efficient your bike is) but a lot more stressful if you have to contend with the vast numbers of dangerous/reckless drivers on the road.

The only think that would put me off (other than stupid drivers) is how hot & sweaty you'll be when you arrive and how much stuff you'll have to carry with you (change of clothes, a few litres of water, etc.).
