I had a load of apps to update so did this, but i'm having trouble with one app in particular.
I get the error - "1 item could not be synced, see iTunes".
It is basically stuck at the progress bar which isn't moving. I've tried deleting from within the phone, from within iTunes. I've tried updating from within the phone & iTunes. I've tried turning it off & back on. I don't want to have to do a restore.
The app is Fifa 13.
Any ideas what's going on?

I don't know, but if something ain't broken then don't try to fix it, the latest and greatest updates are not always an improvement (as you have now discovered) 0 0

I know this - this is why there was about 10 apps that i didn't update. I now read the reviews first. The reviews were good, so i went to update.0

I have read issues about fifa 3 in the past and I don't even know what it is. for me and apps, if they continually need updating, then I delete them off the device all together, in this day and age developers should be nearing a get it right 1st time, some apps I have I look what the updates include, and if it doesn't interest me, then I don't update.
Anyways did you uninstall the app from the device or just delete it ?
You may need to uninstall the app as the device may see it as already installed.0

            What's the difference?
Anyway, new problem now - iTunes wont "see" my iPhone. Not very good.0

The difference is that say on my phone (android) some apps that require updating require the original to be removed (the data remains on the device (eg google maps/what's app etc) once uninstalled the new version is applied and the data retrieved.
Some apps can update on top of the current version.
As itunes won't recognise your device then it seems you have a different problem to resolve 1st and the other symptoms should fall into place.0

In short the phones jail broken. You would have to download the real apple version of ios and do a restore to the newly downloaded software instead of your back up.The harder one works the luckier one gets!0

I could be wrong but...iTunes updated at the weekend, sounds like this app didn't do it's stuff to make sure their app would work with the update. I'd either wait it out or contact whomever developed the app and ask them when they're going to sort out the issue.0
