0 points to 15 at tribunal this afternoon. Nice and quick, just a 10 min chat and I walked out with a decision letter in my hand. If only the real medicals were like this...
Thank you to all the people posting in this forum, your expertise and warm words d encouragement helped me get through the stress of this last year mostly intact, thank you so much, and to everyone still fighting this broken system - don't give up, there is light at the end of the tunnel, keep going.

are you saying screw you to the people that have made sure you will be getting money to live on instead of ending up on the streets and starving to death? How quaint.0
-
obviously not, because the people that made this decision was an independant tribunal ... not ATOS
ATOS are the ones that made ab error and refused the OP, causing many months of unecessary stress and harship!0 -
I think it more likely that he`s saying screw the incompetent Atos HCA for awarding him 0 points when in fact he was shown that he should have scored 15 points by an independent tribunal.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. the DWP made the decision based on ATOS' report.
they can only award points based on the report as no one from DWP actually comes into contact with the claimant!0 -

As well as the supporting medical evidence the claimant supplies. I did not suggest otherwise.
The fact is that the OP (and many other people) need to direct their frustrations at the DWP, they are the ones that decided the awards. They are also the ones that need to change their processes, to give more weight to the evidence supplied by the claimant.0 -
i didnt supply any evidence , but was fortunate enough to have my medical with a HCP that actually listend and used the information that i gave, when making her report.
i have since been reassessed, without the need for a medical.
i can obky presume this was based on the intital ATOS report.
so sometimes they do a good and thorough job. it should be the ruke and not the exception0 -
I'm actually female

The screw you was because there were lies in my report, things like I'm not deaf, even though I was born with it and was wearing hearing aids. Some pages say things like "has x" but the next page will say "does not have x". The whole thing reads like scraps from other people's report and has pretty much no relation to my actual condition. They even have "does not have a telephone" on the same page as "uses telephone to order shopping from supermarket".
32 factual errors were found in the report atos produced. Both atos and the tribunal service were given the exact same information yet atos failed to actually look at it.
I don't really blame the dwp, as they can only decide based on the report, but the report was just lies from start to finish.0 -
By the way, does anyone know how long it takes to get back pay? My sofa broke and sitting on the floor with a dodgy spine is very painful, I want to buy a new one to celebrate.0

I disagree completely. I totally understand where the OP is coming from. When you've had an HCP from ATOS lying about you, the anger should definitely be directed at them.
The dd was also a victim of ATOS lies, which resulted in a 0 point assessment. So I can understand your frustration at them.
I have no idea on the time scale unfortunately as the lass had to start a totally new claim because of a changing condition and other factors.4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0
