ALL unsecured debts will be included in the BR you are not allowed to prefer any one creditor over another. I have lost touch with SOA`s, over 3 years since I went BR, but there are expenses in there that will not be allowed, where did you get that SOA template from? Have you spoken to any other debt charities?

We got it from Stoozing and used figures from Stepchange

Do you get Child Benefit or any other benefits?

    No benefits dont qualify
  • How old are your children, if they are working or even on benefits they will be expected to put some money into the house.
  • Presents & Entertainment not allowed for starters...for an SOA put down what you pay NOW rather than what stepchange suggest (as it may suprise they can be wrong sometimes)

The other issue is the cars. You own two, how much is each worth? You don't work so you will need to justify why you need a car, it is likely that the OR will not consider your car necessary and will claim it. That will have the effect of reducing your outgoings considerably too.

if one car belongs to the person not going BR it will be fine but not the costs to run it, you will have to justify the need for a 2nd car.

None of your expenses need upping and you haven't left anything out, so apart from lowering what I think is too high, just leave as is and hope for the best.
We could all guess here what your OR will do but each OR is different, so you might as well hand in that SOA and expect a few questions and maybe an IPA as I too think some of your expenses and loan repayments will not be allowed but you might as well ask for more and get knocked back than ask for not enough, just be ready with arguments to backup your expenses.

I'm in the south east and pay £35 a month for a 3 bed house for water so £70 is a lot. I've taught the children to be pretty economical though!

    Hi,

I think, considering the fuel arrears and loan payments plus some other expenses listed I think you will be presented with an IPA to agree (or not) of at least £400 pm.
Both of the vehicles will be seized assets (providing they are owned by the bankrupt) unless you can provide a need for them, not just they are convenient.
If one or more cars are not allowed then neither will their costs, hence bigger IPA.
Are you prepared to accept these risks?
