  • yes i am! and i have got it back! my credit card supplier has cancelled the transaction! so the slimy retailer is NOT getting any of my money! and i have bought it directly from manufacturer! so now i will leave bad reviews all over the retailers twitter/facebook and all that! thanks to all that contributed!

shame to think that people are willing to let people like this get away with it whilst they drive around in top of the range cars by robbing people! wheres the sense of customer service gone!!

Wow that was quick. Perhaps the retailer will now take you to court to cover his losses.

It was so quick, you may think that it is just a bit of made up face saving to prove something to a few anonymous internet posters.

how is it slimy, surely i have the right to cancel! i would understand on made to order items or bespoke products but this is off the shelf that they dont even stock and had'nt even put the order in to the supplier yet! i have spoke to the supplier and they are also appalled by the actions of the retailer!
Guess I'm old fashioned. If I agree a deal with someone, I stick to it.
  • yes it was quick as the retailer knew he was wrong! prove what to anon internet users? seriously? like i have nothing else better to do anyways thanks and goodbye!

Make your mind up, a while ago it was the CC provider that had cancelled the transaction. Best to sort out your BS before posting it.

But the retailer wasn't wrong and credit cards don't just cancel transactions without first looking into them, not something they have had time to do.

They can't just cancel the transaction, they would have placed it in dispute so the retailers merchant bank will give them the opportunity to defend it and can deny the chargeback.

When the CC company write confirming the chargeback then read it carefully as it will state any refund is temporary and they may deduct the amount again if they cannot recover the money
