Restoring the PC to a couple of days ago (which still has Chrome v24.xxx) has fixed the Roboform problem for now, but this causes a further problem as the Chrome profile was created by the later version and it pops up a warning that some features may not be available. The one that I've noticed is that it seems to have lost my autofills, which is also very annoying.

This is what happened when i restored to before the problem.My chrome wasn't synced anymore and my autofill details were gone.

I have started using the roboform icon in the top right corner for now and hopefully it will be fixed soon

Just to let you all know Ive found a way around it If you reopen chrome then load MSE, then on the MSE tab at the top, right click it and press pin tab, then when you click the comp links and they open in a new window or tab the toolbar shows. When you hit back on the forums the toolbar does disappear but I can live with that as I dont use it on here and it does show again when you click through to the next comp.

Ive exactly the same prob and have also reported it to Roboform so hopefully they will see it is affecting a few users! I'll post if I hear back too

My fix from above failed! I thought I had managed to stop Chrome from updating itself, but apparently not! Today it had reverted back to v25.0.1364.97 m and the Roboform problems were back.

I then remembered that I had ignored the Roboform version update nagging prompts a while ago, so I downloaded the latest version (7.8.6.5). Not wishing to tempt fate, but so far it's worked! I've entered about 20 comps with the new version and apart from the odd glitch with a slow-loading page it has kept working. The fix for the slow-loading page is to click on a fully-loaded tab (eg an MSE thread) where the Roboform toolbar is there, then click back to the page where it was missing and it usualy brings the Roboform toolbar with it.

I am already on the latest version of roboform.The clicking on the existing tab and then back to the new one works for me yes.

It is annoying and it always seems to happen on the daily comps (WOTV,chat etc) where i use my "no thanks" roboform filler.

Yes happened to me today - not happy! When someone finds a solution please post! Still awaiting a reply from Roboform! Will post if and when I receive one!
