Coop, HSBC: Passport certification for First Direct
Halifax apparently, Lloyds: Provisional licence is a shame !!!!
Just search the board for 'provisional licence' for more information. And the license alone is likely to be insufficient.
Regarding 'good', it's far too subjective and depends on what you want.0 -

good mean who are good with customer service and account running.0 -
Santander customer service improves, as Bank of Scotland sinks
Personally, I don't care about the CS and prefer some material rewards instead like interest, free insurance etc.0 -

I would say "account running" depends to 99% on yourself. It is your money, you are responsible for it, not the bank. Any bank will provide you with the basic tools you need to run your account well - - 24 x 7 online access with online help, cash withdrawals, standing orders, direct debits, transaction records, statements, mobile access etc etc.
I would also say you get good customer service if you manage your finances well. I you make a dog's breakfast out of your finances, no customer service team will bail you out.0 -
If you apply online the chances are you won't need ID documents if ID can be verified electronically. i.e. you're on the electoral roll.
If you like to do everything online - smile.co.uk current account, part of the Co-op group where documents are needed accepts a provisional driving licence and you need address verifying documents too.
There are no good banks. There are bad banks and indifferent banks and that's it.0
