That seems a bit silly.
You've effectively closed down your Caplital One account because they wouldn't give you a second card.
Was your Capital One card a secured card? That's just about the only reason anyone would want a Luma card in preference to a Capital One card.
Oh well, next stop Vanquis. Unless you have another credit card. In which case, I'd wonder why you wanted the Luma.
I have Vanquis etc and also a couple of others but felt that Luma was a step-up from the basic card I had. No it wasn't secured, it is a normal card account but only has £200 limit which isn't even enough to pay for my weekly shop for the family so it's pointless having it. Too many cards on your credit file is also bad so why keep it open when I don't use it?0
