Hi MSE
I just apply for Luma card and went through and got three green ticks and then seen agreement online and signed it electronicly.
I thought I was successful but instead I got this message so does that mean declined? Anyone else see this and get card or is it usually decline?
Thanks for any assistance.

What do I do now?
We'll now perform additional checks. This typically takes 7 working days.
In some instances, we may need more information to complete your application. If so, we'll write to you and let you know.
If your application is successful, we'll send your Luma card to you as soon as possible.

I got the same response when I applied for a Cap One classic card, and Cap One issue Luma, means they will send to the underwriters for a yay or nay, in our case it was a nay.
I got an Aqua card instead at nealy 6% lower APR so
to Cap One CC limits £26000
Long term CC debt £0
Total low rate loan debt £3000
Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.0 -

Thanks for the info. I was declined Aqua a while back so not looking good. But I do have a capital one card so maybe my history will help/hinder this application.

If you apply at the weekend or out of hours I believe you also get this type of message.
I would give them a few days, you could always call up on Tuesday/Wednesday for a progress update.Bad luck breeds bad luck.
Damn I'm doomed.0 -
Its pretty standard I think, I have had similar messages from many card applications and more often than not I got accepted for the card.If a man does not keep pace with his companions, then perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music he hears, however measured or far away. thoreau0
