No Till Receipts at the Coop!!!
Comments

Never got one in Coop. But do a quick add up before I get to the till just in case. Quite a few times they have had to go look at the shelf and amend items on offer which the till said were not.0

Ours doesnt give them, they put them in the bin. You have to ask if you want it.A minute at the till, a lifetime on the bill.
Nothing tastes as good as being slim feels.
one life, live it!0 -
In my local co-op sometimes the cashier will ask if you want it and others you have to actually ask for it yourself or they just screw it up and chuck it. I always ask for it though as there have been a few times where i have been over charged.0

Our local co-op never give receipt unless asked, and then they are obviously annoyed at the delay.
Every time I have asked for receipt, it has come with a money off next shop voucher, usually £1 off £10.0 -
My local one doesn't give reciepts unless they're asked for as well, they go in the bin. I find it rather sly, especially considering the fact that myself and other people I know always have problems with my local Co-op overcharging for things!0

I've found that you always have to ask in Co-ops, in various different towns and cities I've lived in, I nearly always have to ask for the receipt. When I had to buy something for work she put it through, I paid, she gave me change and not the receipt, so I had to ask, she looked a bit huffy. Doesn't make any sense why they wouldn't give out a receipt straight away!0

Used to used local coop loads until they closed it, they knew i wanted my receipt so I always got it, out of town I sometimes have to ask but never felt this was a problem, I do shop and scan so always need the receipt. I always thought it was because a lot of people leave them on the counter/floor didn't take it personally0

I use my local Co-Op on a fairly regular basis and always gets an itemised receipt. I like to check my receipt just to check their prices are correct. Very occasionly the receipt doesn't tally with the shelf price.0

There is the option to say no to printing the receipt and I always ask. If it is a debit card payment then the receipt is printed automatically. Most people don't want the receipt and if I ask before printing then it saves paper.:A
