Virgin Sim in T-Mobile locked phone
Just wanted a quick bit of advice, hope someone can help.
My OH is about to purchase a new phone to use with his new Virgin PAYG sim. He's got his eye on a SonyEricsson w810i from Phones4U, which is on T-Mobile.
Am I right in saying the Virgin Sim will automatically work in this phone as Virgin use the T-mobile network??
I'm sure I read somewhere that it doesnt work the other way round, i.e. a T-Mobile Sim in a Virgin phone, but hope that I have it the right way round before he forks out the cash. (Wouldn't hear the end of it otherwise :rotfl: )
Thanks

They dont always work 100% all the time some t-mobile sims will work in virgin phones and have had virgin sims working in t mobile phones before they have been unlockded so you cant 100% guarantee that it will work. I would hate to say it would and then find out it doesnt work.0

Ended up going to the Carphone Warehouse today & bought the Sony Ericsson W810i for £109.99 which included an Orange sim + £10 credit.
After hunting around on the web last night, I discovered that CPW sell most of their PAYG phones unlocked and unbranded which is a bonus. My OH can now use his Virgin sim in this no problem, and we now have £10 on the orange sim which we can use for Orange Wednesdays and for emergencies.
Only problem is now I want one too, so very tempted to treat myself and replace my trust old Nokia 6630!!
