Broadband solution

Hello,

I'm looking for advice on the best way to do something.

Is there a way of having broadband at one house and then having a dongle at another. I know it will cost more. Are there any products that do this? the Mrs wants to have the bill at her house and pay for a dongle at her mums. Any ideas

Thanks
Tim

A dongle is mobile broadband, you can have it wherever there is a 3G signal.
The dongle will be a separate contract in Mum's name, but your wife can still pay it-just use her DD details, not Mum's. Mum remains liable though.
But why not just take out both contracts in your own name, and hand the dongle over to Mum?
I'm not aware of any providers who will bundle a landline broadband deal with a dongle, if that's what you are asking.
But since you can get ADSL based broadband for as little as £5.99pm (Plusnet), then, assuming that Mum has a BT-based landline, that might be a better option.

Hhhmmmm her mum lives in the stick in the yorkshire hills so i dont think we have 3G near her. I will check though.

sounds like home broadband here and a sep one for her mum for less than a tenner a month

As I said, Plusnet is £5.99 pm as long as she's not on a Market 1 exchange.
Easily checked by an exchange search on https://www.samknows.com.
Postcode searches do not guarantee 3G reception at an actual address, so don't rely on them. Test on site with a 3G phone.
