A word of warning if dealing with CPW O2 Retentions

Three weeks ago when I rang up to cancel my PAC to move to Vodafone, I was given the hard sell by the CPW rep about O2 being the much better network. He explained they offered per second billing and rollover minutes. I queried the rollover minutes and he said you could carry any unused minutes into the next month.

Anyway I considered the whole deal he offered me and phoned back 2 days later and spoke to another guy in retentions to take up the offer.

This morning I phoned CPW warehouse with another query and while on the phone asked for confirmation about rollover minutes. The answer was that as I am on a less than £35/month contract don't get rollover minutes. I tried to push for them to listen to the call where the rep stated rollover minutes were standard but the reply was they will only listen to the final call where the deal was done.

tbh its not a realy big deal, but I thought I would post this as a warning to anyone, if you are promised something make sure they re-iterate it in the call when you take up the deal.
