Personally I would send the application form back to them, UNSIGNED, saying thanks but no thanks.0

Rang Mint today about their loan payment due on 21st, told them I wouldn't be able to meet it but sending postal order for £5 in post today, the man got really horrible and demanded to know why I couldn't pay and told me that they would come after me for the money. I explained to him that I was meeting with CCCS on Monday. I then asked him to keep all correspondence in writing and he said they will come after me what ever way they want, if they want to ring me they will, rather than upset me this made me really cross and I explained that he couldn't get what I didn't have, and I wasn't asking him to write the debt off I was dealing with my debt problem not waiting for them to deal with it.Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. BSC No 880

HI owetoomuch
I've only just seen this - but yes, just ignore that loan agreement. well done for being too wise to sign it - Nat West got me that way several times but I am determined now to take out no more loans.
Good luck with the CCCS appointment. I'm sure you will find it really helpful and they will certainly support your approach of dealing with the creditors. It's a great sign that you were angry rather than upset by that horrible call - you are now in control and they can't upset you in the same way ever again.Total debt: 1 January 2007 £[strike]49,387.79[/strike] 1 January 2012 £[STRIKE]19,312.85[/STRIKE] 1 August 2012 £11,517.620 -

Take it with a pinch of salt! It's typical bullying tactics to get their money! They can't have what you haven't got!
And as for them coming to get the money off you! :rotfl:
I'd love to see the lazy barstewards try!
If they continue to phone you and are rude or threatening tell them are recording the conversation and you will report them for harrasment!0 -
hiya:hello: you have received some fab advise so far and i cant add much but what did spring out at me was you are paying out a whopping £80 a month on leccy, this is a huge amount! you really need to go around your house and swap your bulbs for energy saving ones and make sure everything is turned off when not needed. i found that my tumble drier really bumped my leccy up so if you have one try drying clothes on an airer or on the line as much as poss. also you are paying out £16.99 a month for a washing machine
i take it that this is a rented machine...could you get rid of this and pick up a cheap second hand machine saving you this amount each month?
you have pet insurance is this needed? could you not put this £20.62 into a seperate account and let it build up and earn you interest so it is there if it is needed? this works out to be £247.44 a year and will soon mount up.proper prior planning prevents !!!!!! poor performance!Only when the last tree has died and the last river been poisoned and the last fish been caught will we realise we cannot eat moneyquote from an american indian.0 -

We do this already, spoke with EDF about our usage and they are convinced this is correct - will look into changing supplier i found that my tumble drier really bumped my leccy up so if you have one try drying clothes on an airer or on the line as much as poss. also you are paying out £16.99 a month for a washing machine

Faced my first real challenge today, shopping for the week first time I have ever used a shopping list, if it wasn't on it, it didn't get bought. Usually just chucked things in trolley and stuck bill on credit card (hence the big debt)
Meeting with CCCS on Monday, hopefully they will be able to help me.Went BR 25th May 2007 at 12.33, OR Interview now done. BSC No 880 -
