not sure where to post but really need some advice

We both sat and talked more last night and decided that today was going to be a fresh start for us. We're leaving behind the past and what has happened and starting with a fresh slate. So far we've had a lovely day with the kids and it really does feel like we could move on.
We don't really go out very often (usually special occasions) so we've made plans to make sure we go out twice a month, at the beginning with his best friend and his girlfriend (we started doing this last month and had made plans to do this wvery month) and the middle of the month just the two of us (our new plans).
