    Gooooood morning!!

Feeling a bit better today, it's amazing what a snuggle with my two dogs and DH does to lift my mood :)

Today I will try and not quit my job!
Check banking, one DD left to come out
LSD, need something for lunch. And possibly dinner, but there is money left in the food budget to cover
Do swagbucks, onepoll, check competitions board and freebies
Tonight I will cut out the remainder of my patchwork squares, going to make http://dsquilts.com/fabric_and_patterns.asp?PageID=187 this for my niece. For her birthday on Sunday,

Need to make a start on next months budget as well, I seem to work well if it's all written down, just need to get it written down :o

I will try and be more positive today. Only I can help myself to feel better, to be better. I need to make more of an effort with everything in my life!

    Have a good day y'all! x

That patchwork dog is lovely! (bookmarked it for myself) :)

I have never managed to do a patchwork before, there is far too much measuring for my liking :o And I don't do straight lines lol!

    Wish me luck!
Can't think of anything smart to put here...

Off grocery shopping today. Will be taking a large number of 2p coins from a jar that has been accumulating and will be putting as many of them as possible into the self checkout machine.

Also will be making a list beforehand and sticking to it.

Not so moneysaving is that I am driving to a store that is 18 miles away as opposed to our local ones (3 within a few miles of here).

    Afternoon all,
Quite a good day so far, though it's soooooo cold! (Am FAR to stingy these days to put extra heating on!)
    So far, I've:
*Done a few surveys. (Could cash in Toluna points but will carry on to £30 Debenhams giftcard level)
*Updated budgets & re-embursed the money I owed the grocery fund with 2 big bags of onions, lol)
*Bought local paper as am reseaching local bathroom suppliers/fitters/good offers as need new bathroom but determined to get best price we can.
*Parked at edge of town & walked in (free). Parked up at local park on way home (free) & walked one circuit. Pedometer said 2.5 miles in all, so no need for exercise dvd to come out today....yay!
*Had free coffee at Waitrose ('My Waitrose' card) & had little healthy snack in my bag thus avoided cake temptation. (Only lost a lb in last fortnight....been dieting so long, think will have to drop calorie level, so am trying to be squeaky-good...... :-/)
*Tried a totally GORGEOUS top on in 'Monsoon', then realised I didn't have my gift voucher with me!!!! Nooooo!!!!! Put the top back. The old naughty foxgloves would have bought the top then come back & spent the voucher as well on something else. Am reformed character!
*Browsed flea market. Did not buy anything. Another big source of spending for me in the past as I love the vintage, shabby chic look.
*Dinner tonight turkey chilli (from my big post-Christmas batch cook) & jacket potatoes.
*Entered 7 competitions - 4 more to do.
    That's it for me today.
    Love to all,
foxgloves x Oh, I forgot.....Ziggy & the wrinkly apples. I often often use these in sage & onion stuffing and in muffins.

I've been thinking that (of myself) all week! All week I have been saying to myself:
    • It is normal to hate mornings. Get up and get on with it!
    • Only I can do this. Self-pity won't help.
    • Telling my work colleagues how I feel won't help. They're not mature enough to understand. Just get on with it!
And, ta da(!) I have made it to the end of my week. At the beginning of the week I was all for giving up on everything, but I'm over the worst now, I think. I can't give up, not now I've come this far and paid off 82% of my debt.

C'mon, zepsgal, you can do it.

Our local pound shop sells a drain snake. Comes in handy now and again and is chemical free. Something like this: (Link)

Now and again we put a crushed egg shell down the sink. OH swears it helps prevent fat build up.
