Hi guys
got a few months left on my talk talk contract, been with them around 6 years but fed up of the now monthly 2-3 days dropping of connection (numerous calls to them over those said days, unable to understand a word they say and vice versa, being told I need a £50 engineer to come out..no way am I paying them any such fee) then after *tests* at their end it working fine for a few more weeks till same happens again
anyway got about 4 months left on my latest 12 months contract and want to cancel, do they charge, even if its their own fault I am leaving for crap service
I am getting about 5-6 mbs speed which is pretty slow now I am using sky on demand, lovefilm/netflix etc so want a better faster and more reliable supplier
who are the best (providing I can get them in my area, someone once said I had to go back to BT for a year before I could go to sky or whoever, is this true?
Paying £30 p/m for broadband and a phone I rarely ever use and want a better deal for my money, btw just signed up a new contract with sky tv so dont want any other tv deals etc, just want rid of crappy talk talk

Sky LLU Unlimited would seem the obvious choice if you have Sky TV.
......................and your exchange has it.
Sky may be able to do an LLU to LLU transfer from talk Talk. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
If there is a line fault on the local loop, or an issue with your own wiring or extension sockets, then switching ISP's will make no difference whatsoever. Could be an intermittent fault caused by water getting into the line-does it tend to dro when it's been raining?
LLU to LLU is normally very difficult, but there are reports that Sky have sometimes been able to do it.
As penrhyn sugests, first check that you can get Sky LLU.No free lunch, and no free laptop

That's way more than you need for netflix, don't know about the others though. It's someone else's fault.0
