BA Flight refund and Compensation??

I spoke to British Airways last night about a refund on a flight that was delayed 24hours (I had to book another flight as I urgently needed to get home) they said I would need to contact my travel agent about a partial refund. I booked the flight through ebookers but surely its not their fault that the plane didn't take off (mechanical reason)?

Also I did take the return part of the trip. According to e bookers website: "Please note for partially used tickets the applicable refund amount must be recalculated by the airline"

Am I entitled to a full or partical refund? Surely BA should still be processing my compensation regardless? Should I be refunded by BA, ebookers or a coombination of both? Its been 7 weeks since I orginally called them. I have also sent them 3 emails and another phone call last night and am getting no where.

I'm confused and annoyed. Any advice would be welcomed ;-
