Apologies in advance if this has ever been posted previously, but if, like me, you've been in a situation where you've no credit & need to make a call, this may be of interest to you..... Anyway, it's easy to make a reverse charge call when you use a phone box, right? Just dial 100 for the operator. Ok, it's a few years since I've had need to use a phone box & this may no longer be the case, but I digress.....If you're with Orange on a pay as you go phone, this is what you need to do. Text TANK to 2002. By doing this, you get £2.50 credit added to your phone, which you pay back next time you top up. To activate it, you then have to call 450. It costs slightly more to make calls/text, but in an emergency I think that's a small price to pay:rotfl: as soon as you top up, the charges revert to normal. :T
