Hi everyone.
I've spent this morning being Kim and Aggie (yes, both of them, I'm versatile like that,) at the so-called studio flat of one of our Open-Arms clients. I'll draw a veil over the condition of the place, my descriptive powers aren't up to it. However, 31/2 hours later at least the bathroom had been mucked out and was fresh and hygenic enough to use. His comment on seeing it was, "doesn't it smell nice," I pointed out that it was the smell of clean.
Next time I have a couple of hours to spare I'm going to tackle the kitchen, heaven help us! I've left him with cloths, scourers, various creams and solutions and a to-do list. We'll see.
Absolutely delighted today as I've been on the 5:2 diet for 6 weeks now and have lost my first half stone. This is an incredible achievement for me and so encouraging.
Julie: When your only comfort is food, you've got to go with it. Diets will still be there when the stress is over.
The sun is still shining like mad and highlighting the dust on the TV.

Evening all:j:j
Well we had great fun today:j:j
After the art and craft at the library this morning we went to the charity afternoon at the Pub.
We had a pub meal there,
They had an animal man there. Who came along with Snakes, Lizards, Cockroach's,Sick thing a bobs. A very large bull frog. And A Hedgehog !
There were quite a few family's In the pub. Quite a few Kids being "kids"
The animal man was great! He took the time with every kid to show them each animal, each and every Kid got the chance to hold every animal. He talked to the kids about the animals. And gave them some funny story's about what they sometimes get up to.
There were two lady's doing face painting/tattoos, And one of the bar staff was dressed up a a large chicken all afternoon. Entertaining the kids when they were not playing with the animal.
The only cost of all this was a charity box for people to put money in. The Pub had paid for everything else,
Ok yes the pub made more than there money back with the drinks and the meals that were sold. But most people did put money In the box. So the charity will do OK out of it too. It was for a kids cancer charity, people always try and give a little more to charity's that are for Kids. Well I think so anyway.:)
Anyway a good afternoon out! And not too expensive.
:j:j:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j0
