AMEX Supplementary Card

I have an Amex Gold and want to get a supplementary card for my brother. He is overseas at the moment but will be moving back here in a couple of months. I'm trying to get it sorted before he's moving here I'm wondering whether Amex requires proof of ID/ proof of address for supplementary card holders? Or will they just…

Mine (PRGold card) said the same and took over a week for them to accept and send out signature forms. They also called to check I had applied but all went through successfully. I haven't returned the signed forms so can't help on the address question
