She has admitted they didnt tell you about the 24 hour thing and also its not in the T&c as already mentioned so seems to me you have a very good case, Drive them crazy and keep at them untill they give you something if only to shut you up.

dead disapointed for you and good luck with this.

Do you have any legal rights to the prize in a situation like this, or if you havn't paid for entry is it a case of them not being bound to it?

    David

P.S - More of a general question, not just aimed at OP?
What shall I put here?

Oh I really feel for you. Fingers crossed you get the prize you deserve. What if you had been on holiday or ill? Tough luck it sounds like which is just wrong.

    Good luck

Hiya! After a lot of emailing about Conde Nast finally appeared to give way and told me they'd be in touch with the details of the holiday. I've waited YONKS for these details and they've arrived today.

    "Hi Luke
How are you? Many thanks for your patience regarding the Touareg competition, please see below the trip itinerary as promised.
In order to book him on the holiday you will need to send over the following:
    Full name
    Address
    Phone number
    Email
Credit card details to cover the cost of the flight, which is approx £350 (there will be no charge for the holiday itself).

I will pass this information over to VW and will make sure we confirm the cost of the flights with you."

Below the above message is an itinerary of what the holiday includes etc.

Now I don't know what to think here. Grateful I finally seem to be getting somewhere, or wound up? Credit card details? £350? The holiday is worth a lot more than that but I don't have £350 to give.

Is this normal? What's going on?!?!

If anyone has any advice I'd much appreciate it.

    Cheers again, Luke

Can you remember from the T&Cs if flight were originally included?

    Hi Luke,

Sorry you're having such a rotten time getting your prize - it's even worse than my total lack of just winning anything in the first place :(

Do you still have the original T&C of the comp? In there is should state what the prize consists of, and if transport there is part of it or not. If it's not part of it, to make you take their (over inflated imho) price for the flights, it has to say in the T&C that you have to book flights through them. If there is no mention of it, email them back saying 'thanks but no thanks, I'll book my own flights ta very much, here are my details for the actual prize though'. Normal advice on any comp is if you have to pay, you haven't won anything really so don't pay up, unless it's clearly in the T&Cs. Hope it gets sorted out :(
Do not feed the trolls please.
