Many thanks for coming back to me. As you can imagine we consistently have a high number of competitions running on our sites at any one time and regularly do not hear back from winners when we email them.

Therefore when we notify winners by email we clarify that they have 24 hours to get back to us before we have to notify another winner. Unfortunately this information was not included in the email you received however I am afraid this is a policy we have to adhere to, to ensure all prizes are allocated and hence why you have missed out on this occasion.

I am sorry for this confusion however I am delighted to offer you the GQ subscription which I will organise for you this week.

def stick to the t & c's from the comp. Print them out, just incase they change them. I would not back down. Yes they have a 24hour policy but this was not stated in your email. Take this further!!
