Waitrose are great. I'm gutted that there isn't one near where I moved to.
Last time I was in one, the ladies at the meat counter spent about 20 minutes telling me how to cook a roast - seeing as I'm clueless about these things, it came in very handy and they went above and beyond.0 -
The staff are so nice because they are partners not just staff, they get a say in policies and a share of profits. Happy staff = pleasant customer care= Happy customers = A Healthy company that was what John Spedan Lewis himself discovered way back in 1920. Oh that more companies were run that way instead of fat cat shareholders squeezing everything they can get out of a business.0
