Ofgem the energy regulator?? what have they regulated for me in the last 12 months !!!!! erm not a lot - the energy companies just do what they want
Wind turbines are quite possibly the biggest flop that has been sold to people in this country.....you want to stop blackouts?? i'm afraid nuclear looks the only reasonable option !!!!
Always someone moaning about something to be built (nimby) - fracking , wind turbines , energy recovery facilities , etc etc......0

How much will it cost to look after nuclear waste for thousands of years though? Factor that in and it won't seem so reasonable. That is a bigger con which hardly gets an airing compared to the predictable 'wind turbines only work when it is windy'. Wind energy only needs an effective storage medium and I don't think this is a long way off with the research into using liquefied air starting to take off. As fossil fuel supplies continue to deplete, I can see oil companies moving into renewables if they have already not done so. Sooner or later no matter how much money they throw at it, there will come a time where they will not be able to get any more oil out of the ground.Wind turbines are quite possibly the biggest flop that has been sold to people in this country.....you want to stop blackouts?? i'm afraid nuclear looks the only reasonable option !!!!0
