Broadband on the go

Hi there,
I wonder if anyone can help. I have a Samsung galaxy tab2 7" which I would like to use to surf , use google earth, email etc on a fairly irregular basis.

I understand that I will need a Mifi and a 3G sim but which are the best value items for my somewhat limited budget.
I think would like to opt for a PAYG package rather than a contract, as my usage would be fairly low and sporadic.

I am pretty new to this malarky so I would appreciate any assistance.

Thank you

A geek might purchase this Orange MiFi, then cancel the contract immediately..
Then off to the DC Unlocker website to unlock the thing for less than £6.
Then you can use an inexpensive Three Data SIM, in addition to being able to use it abroad with local data SIMs.

CashBack of £40 is possible, but don't depend on it.

If you have a smartphone you could sign up with Ovivo and use tethering to provide the wifi signal to your tablet.

The Ovivo deal is 100 minutes, 100 texts and 400 m/b data per month at no charge with the exception of an upfront £15 charge which is credit to cover none standard costs.

The above allowances are refreshed each month. Your £15 upfront charge lasts for up to one year.

Ovivo allow tethering within their terms and conditions so no problems in that respect.

They also have a tablet data offer of 500 m/b per month but you will need to get the mifi bit to run that.

Ovivo use the Vodaphone network so you should check for signal availability on their site.
