Confusion over Quidco payment
from their website:
"In order to get paid, you must have selected either PayPal or BACS as a Payment Method, entered the appropriate payment details and have your Minimum Payout set (to less than your received earnings) in My Settings"
I don't understand the latter part......
I mean for example if your expecting a payment of £60
whats this minimum payout all about?

You will pay a fee for each Paypal transaction under £50 or 10p (I think) per BACS payment so it's best to set it to a reasonable amount, say £10 or £20.0

its 5p for BACS but now a little bit confused. One saying set it to £0.00 and other £10/£20
would it make a difference? In either case, would you still get paid?
If you set the Minimum Payout to £0.00, how will you pay them their fee?0 -
Just set your minimum to £0.00. That way you'll get paid every month if you've earnt something.
Quidco will deduct their £5 fee automatically from your earnings prior to to any payments going out to you.0 -
The minimum payout is the amount that you set for payouts.
If you just get larger amounts, then just leave it at zero.I think its only worth changing if you going to small payments and you want to collect them up and get them paid when you save say £10.
So if your expecting £60, then you'll get £59.95 or £54.95, depending if you've paid your £5 fee on something else.
One thing I would suggest, is get it paid into your bank and don't use PayPal. This is the BACS option, well worth the 5p!This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
yeah, paypal fees are usually high. Just to receive say £5 the charge you something like 40p per transaction.0
