A large t£sco shop today. Bumped up to let me use a £6 voucher. :) meals planned for the next nine days. £37.58 spent in total after vouchers and discounts. I'm happy enough with that, though i know there's one thing i forgot. Grrrrrr. I might send hubby. He has the ability to walk in and just buy the one thing he's gone in for. I can't and would come out having spent a fortune on things we don't need.

Diving back in today to say my NSD has turned into the opposite having just decided to do an Approved Food shop, and my second week doesn't start til tomorrow.
I haven't used them in at least two years, and only twice before then. Spends were £22.21 (sig updated) incl £5.25 delivery; but i am uber chuffed with this as that includes eight boxes of cereal ( All-bran crunch). My daughter likes this aswell, so we will start eating the dated stuff first, and then the overflow of less than half price ones up the stairs afterwards. These really should last the whole month if not two/three. The rest of the order included two boxes of breakfast biscuits, two bottles of juice, two facial scrubs, polos (which i price checked against Mr A and were £1.99, as i can't get to any discounted stores these will have to do), Alpro Hazelnut milk x 2, some Thornton's lollies, three novelty cans and a book ( birthday present for DD, so technically not out of this budget, so have deducted amount from total). I think that's pretty good going for just shy of £25.

I've already meal planned for this week, and apart from about a £25 supermarket shop, we will not need anything else. Have still got lots of cat food and dog food, and if in a quandry i will have plenty of cereal :D. This will not be delivered til as near the weekend as possible.
GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £123.74/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. One person vegan household with occasional visitors)

  • NSD today.

Some friends came over after dinner but I still had some cake in freezer so took that out on time, and also had some chocolates and crips in stock. They brought wine :D.

Feels good to be able to entertain without spending money!

£19.39 in Morri's today, topping up fruit, veg, and bits from around the kitchen.

Menu planning tomorrow, hopefully for the rest of the month!

Just a quick note to say Mr M has the payday bonus on again for the next three weeks. Spend over £35 for the next three weeks and get a £10 voucher.

Well, 5 days into the month and I've no idea what I've spent already

I let Dh go into the butchers on his own last week as I was in the car with a migraine. I vaguely remember saying 'buy what you like' :o. He did only spend £8.58 of which over £5 was for one HUGE stuffed chicken breast! Some sausages and mince made up the rest, all gone now so need to get more meat.

I was at Tesco on Saturday or Sunday, can't remember when :o Sorry, I've was ill since Thurday, shouldn't really have been going anywhere seeing how I can't remember what I bought or when. Anyway, spent £41 odds, including dog food. £10 spent in poundland buying in some dog treats, teabags etc.

All in all I've spent far too much of my monthly budget already and I don't think I have that much to show for it :o

Will get my butt into gear and get organised! I am my own worst enemy sometimes
Can't think of anything smart to put here...
