Last Min Holidays - Turn up and go?

I have always wondered if last min holidays are real. Mrs McDuck and I have booked 10 days off in early June and both are up for a little bit of an adventure. Therefore does anyone have any tips / views as to whether is possible to simply turn up at the airport and go and get great deals? If it is really possible is just…

Yes the same applies. There is one big BUT you must be flexable the more flexable the better with dates even if its a few days either side. You have to be flexable as possible with your departure airport and your destination. If you only want 2 week in one hotel and can only leave from your local airport you might struggle. Middle 2 weeks in August are not so bad because the last week July first August are not only school holidays but industry shut down
