My 5 yo Beagle is penned into a part of the kitchen the same size as her bed, otherwise she does her business on the floor every night. If she barks to go out in the night I squirt her with water in the face - I knwo she is pefectly capable of holding it. Seems to work - she only gets out of habit when she stays at my Dad's when I'm away.I seldom end up where I wanted to go, but almost always end up where I need to be0
